I have always loved painted finger nails and toes and am forever adding to my nail polish collection. Problem is I am yet to find a good enough quality nail polish that lasts longer than two days without chipping. I am rough with my fingers. Washing dishes, crafting, digging in my handbag… all the things ladies do with their hands. So I end up having to touch up or redo my nails every day or every second day which is really time consuming.
I am completely in love with Perfect 1o in Ballito who does the durable and super stylish OPI gel nails! I recently visited their store in Ballito at the popular Ballito Junction and I am a huge fan. Their studio space is comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Equipped with four nail mani stations, Three comfortable leather chairs at their pedi station at the back of their store and several treatment rooms. The store looks small when entering but it is spacious and perfect for the woman on the move. I personally don’t have hours to sit and have my nails done so I was a happy lady when I went in on a Saturday morning while the studio was super busy and I had a mani, pedi and a facial done in under two hours!
I have a fancy work awards ceremony coming up this week where I will be traveling to Johannesburg to represent the magazine I work for so I decided to get some super glitzy fingers and toes to match my gorgeous silver dress. I chose OPI’s glittery pewter and I am amazed at how many different options OPI gives you! You could literally have a colour on every second week for a year! I am looking forward to trying out a few of these gorgeous pastels, neons and nudes!
I have had my gel nails on for just over five days and no chips or damage! #WINNING! For a fashionista like me, having beautiful nails to compliment any outfit is worth every cent! I no longer have to worry about fixing a chipped nail before leaving the house or getting out the car. No one has time for that!
I was treated to a Dermalogica facial to improve my skin because I have acne prone skin and was given some Dermalogica products to try out and so far I am noticing a result and change in my skin. Keep an eye on my blog to read about my experience sometime next week.
