Monrobe Monday – OOTD – Exotic Kaftan | Being Maddie & Charlie's Mom

I came across this brand new exotic brand of kaftans and tunics called Qaftans and Qi last week. I have never worn anything like this before and always thought that caftans were only something worn to the beach or when you are onboard a cruise ship or walking around a resort in Zanzibar as resort wear! But upon returning home with this garment I challenged myself to dress it up! I realised that this garment has so much versatility to it, it can literally be taken from the pool to a restaurant! It can be worn to the beach over a cozzie or with a pair of shorts but it has huge potential to be dressed up and worn out to a dressy event!

I paired this kaftan with a pair of long leggings, a tank top underneath and a pair of boots and accessorised with a chunky bracelet and a pair of dangly earrings and I am ready to hit the town!

Although this is a garment will suit the slender, curvy or plus size, being plus size myself, I love how this ‘free size’ garment is truly flattering and I feel like it compliments my shape, it makes me feel sexy and it is so comfy! The fabric has a luxurious feel and it is feather light! I love the ‘wowness’ of the print and the ‘bling’ around the neck and arms giving it that dressy feel, the fullness around the arms is great because I hate exposing too much of my upper arms and the length is great to wear over a pair of leggings! This is a garment that will suit skinny, curvy or plus size!
