Monrobe Loves – Chilloes!

I recently met entrepreneur Shani Joubert, the founder behind the Chilloes brand, a Ballito based company changing the Flip-Flop industry by putting ‘FUN’ back into fundraising for school and they are now expanding into retail.

It is a really fun, creative and modern concept I think will work so well in stores. It is a unique, DIY flip flop with the idea of basically building your own flip flop from choosing the base to the strap and ‘blinging’ it up with twirls and clips of your choice… It is so much fun!

With awesome coloured bases like black, coral, purple, turqouise or a more funkier design like butterflies to coloured straps like leopard print or candy stripes to funky jewels like mo’s, lumo hearts, smiley faces and hashtags – you could build a shoe in every colour to go with every outfit!

I got to choose two pairs to take home and test drive! Naturally I went for a white pair because white goes with everything and I chose a funkier turquoise with butterflies – so cute and girly. With the option of a softer or a harder base – there is a pair to suit everyones preference. The bases are excellent quality and are made to last!

I have really enjoyed these flip flops! They are super comfy and the colours and jewels make them super stylish and the perfect way to ‘chill my toes’!

I am chilling my toes in my new Chilloes this Winter because there is no such thing as Winter in Durban 🙂
