Ever since we received our Nique Goods parcel a couple of weeks ago Maddie has not stopped chewing her cookie teether. You have to admit – this has to be THE COOLEST teether you have ever seen!
Cape Town based, Nique baby goods is all about teething and have the most beautiful handmade teething bead pacifier chains, teething toys and accessories for little ones. Made from 100% food grade silicone, they are free of nasties and are completely safe for babies.
My favourite product of theirs has to be their cookie teether which comes with a chain that keeps the teething from falling onto the floor and keeps it nearby when Maddie needs something to help soothe her gums. Not to mention it is super trendy! Other than the fact that their cookie teether looks like a real life Oreo cookie, it totally makes me feel like an Oreo cookie every time I see Maddie ‘munching away’ on it!
Nique chains, teethers and necklaces are beautifully colourful to attract baby’s attention and the texture of the beads and cookie is great for their development itchy gums. The teethers can also be put into the freezer to be made cold which helps soothe those swollen and sore gums.
They are easy to clean, just wash it with mild soap and water, leave to air dry or wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe or they can be popped into the dishwasher as they are dishwasher safe.
Each chain is unique in design and are handmade. You can customise and design your own chain – on both the teether or the adorable mommy and toddler necklaces – there is an array of different shades of colours and shapes to choose from!
I have proudly worn my super stylish mommy teething necklace for Maddie to tug and chew on when I am holding her. They don’t snap off your neck and break plus it keeps them busy for an entire coffee date – I can assure you!
Nique has been a huge hit with Maddie cutting her first two teeth and I have a feeling they are going to be very well used for at least another year! I highly recommend their goodies!
