I often hear the older generation speak of the clothing they used to dress their babies in and have so often heard them saying “They just don’t make clothes like they used to!”
Receiving this parcel from the proudly South African label, Rue de Lapinou made me think about this statement. From the look and feel of this gorgeous garment – this is what the older generation were speaking of – it exudes quality and style that I haven’t often come across!
I love the print, the playful embrodery of the bicycle and flowers to the frill along the arms and hem – every little girl needs a Rue de Lapinou hanging in her closet or Lily & Grace dress up rail!

I have a feeling this one will be packed away in a special memory box for Maddie to one day pass onto her daughter along with her special Nina crochet doll from Mama Mea. This little doll hasn’t left Maddie’s side since we got our hands on this handmade creation. With it’s cute little bonnet, Nina is the perfect size for little Maddie Moo to give plenty of kisses and cuddles to – plus she is GORGEOUS!
