What Maddie’s Wearing – Minimi Atelier | Being Maddie & Charlie's Mom

I adore denim. I adore two pieces. I adore bloomers. Put all three together and you get one stylish little babe and a very happy mama!

For those of you who haven’t heard of Minimi Atelier, they are a Ballito based contenpery children’s apparel range with a touch of Spanish influence and they truly make the most gorgeous clothing for both boys and girls.

They sent us this gorgeous ‘Barcelona dress’ with matching bloomers which is made in a gorgeous 100% chambray denim fabric that is breathable, soft and comfortable on Maddie’s skin. I love that it is so beautiful and dressy yet allows Maddie to play in the garden and get messy in.

One of my favourite features on this stunning long sleeved dress is the round clown collar and gathered body. The entire back of the dress unfastens with mother of pearl buttons which is so nice for putting on and taking off – no pulling over the head!

This piece is truly elegant and timeless and is so versatile as it can be dressed up or worn down (Keep an eye on my page for the dressed down version), the dress can be worn with a pair of leggings and a cardigan (in the colder seasons) and the bloomers can be worn with a baby grow or a pretty top (in the warmer seasons).

The adorable wand needs a special mention too! Also made by Minimi, this has been one of Maddie’s favourite toys to play around with. Does’t she also look so cute waving it about!
