Our second born is two and to celebrate her special milestone we chose to host her birthday party at one of the girls favourite places… Le Petit Playhouse in Hillcrest. A beautiful role play village unlike any other and the best part – Charlie (and Maddie) along with her friends had the entire place all to themselves for a two hour play slot! The perks of booking Le Petit Playhouse for a private birthday party!
If you’ve never heard of Le Petit Playhouse – it is a charming role play village designed to inspire children to engage in purposeful play. In a busy world of routines, demands and expectations, ours is a world of childhood imagination – and this is a world we value.

The Le Petit Playhouse concept helps children explore the pure and simple wonder of imagination. It has been carefully created for children to learn through play, which is crucial to all children’s development. Their mascot puppets show playfulness and are beloved for their heartwarming personalities.
Le Petit Playhouse is filled with charm in every last detail and includes beautiful dress-up clothes, accessories and props to ensure cherished memories are created and shared with family and friends.

Take a peek inside and what the kiddies at the party got to enjoy…

A highlight for the kids was Heather’s incredible puppet show. She truly knows how to bring the ‘village drama’ to life with her playful and oh so colourful puppet characters who initiate a drama inspired activity that the children can choose to join in with. Needless to say she had every adult and kid in the house captivated by her show. I loved seeing the kids getting up on stage and getting involved in the stories Heather told. She has a beautiful way of involving the kids with dress up and props so that they feel a part of the stories!

I loved that the kiddies got to enjoy a play session with an emphasis on Charlie as the birthday girl. The exclusive party booking is for a maximum of 30 children and parents can bring their own party food and birthday cake for the children, however snacks and drinks for the adults must be purchased from the Park Café.
I called in our friends at Polka Dot Company to set up a simple but beautiful party table for the party which came out beautifully according to her theme – rainbow!
How stunning?

Polka Dot Company also did cute party boxes for Charlie which her friends got to take home to enjoy…

My incredibly talented friend Kirsty of Hustle & Heart Cookie Studio did Charlie’s birthday cookies according to theme…

And she blew Charlie’s cake topper for her birthday cake (from Salta SPAR) out of the water!!! How stunning?

For party favours, Lael the Label to create personalised wax crayons for each friend to take home – in a rainbow colour palate, which came out beautifully! I added a label which I cut and drew using my Cricut Maker.

The party was incredibly special and just the perfect celebration for our Charlie Mouse. The prefect venue – intimate and so effortless with all the fun! The party set up was beautiful and exactly what we’d hope for and everyone had the best time!
